Ethiopia is a minor problem now

You might be seeing this, and wondering what I mean by this.

As some of you might know, Ethiopia may be on the brink of Balkanisation. Numerous ethnic groups do not want to be apart of this union anymore due to the war in Tigray.


Here, a half Amhara/Afar speaks on why they believe that balkanisation is needed:


Due to this Tigray war, which is one of the most brutal conflicts in the 21st Century so far and has killed 600k, I feel that Balkanisation is imminent.

As a result I think this could play out well for us Somalis, if we start playing smart and become stable, we might be able to reclaim Galbeed without any bloodshed. This only leaves Dijbouti and NFD left, which is another story.

TLDR: Ethiopia is going to break up into states, and this could play out well for Somalis since Galbeed can rejoin us, and as a result a major part of forming Somaliweyn is accomplished, without any / minimal bloodshed.

A reddit post from one frustrated individual doesn't really signal much, the Ethiopian state isn't as balkanised as people think it is despite conflicts happening in large swarths of land, most of its people hate Abiy but aren't calling for secession or balkanisation.

That would be the dream, but it wouldnt be allowed to happen 110 million people in the most important logistical route on the planet cant work as much as I wish for it.

As Somalis we have insane levels of cognitive dissonance man. The Somali FGS/FMS controls no more than 2/3rds of the country (excluding Somaliland) and we are talking about Galbeed. There’s like 1000 steps we need to take before even thinking about Galbeed why don’t we focus on that?

I was thinking about after Somalia is stable, but the current problems of Somalia is simply al-Shabaab, corruption, and qabilism. Sort these things out and we are good
