You're right, their economic growth is a facade, only the north, especially Addis Ababa, is benefiting from the boom in the economy. All the other regions are still in poverty

Ethiopia and China have respectively a long and continuous history as a nation state and currently enjoy a relatively high growth rate, that is all they needed to come to the conclusion that Ethiopia is the new China. What shitty article.
Their projected economic growth rate is 8.5% this year thats a greater rate of growth than China
