Ethiopia is occupying and killing our people in Ogaden and south Somalia. Plus landlocked country like Ethiopia who wants to annex our ports.

UAE is building and training our national Somali army, invested in our country ports plus the charity work in north Somalia. They are not occupying us like Ethiopia.

This is crap, second rate journalism, what the hell is dhanaan media?

The UAE has very little influence, its trying to build influence to compete with Turkey, the UAE had organized a meeting including Cumar Abdirashid and Sharif Sakin, for Sharif Sakin to back CC. Lakin he rejected , as he will seek to run for President himself.
Ethiopia's influence is waning, it has its own issues back home.

The key players at the moment are Turkey, the US and EU. The EU pays the wages of soldiers and civil servants, while Turkey has committed a lot of investment. The US is still weighing on who they will back, but It seems like Jibril Abdule is their man.
