Aid doesn't get people out of poverty, it only keeps them on a leash, dependent on aid forever. How can't a nation with the largest coastline,untapped natrual resources, and abundant farmland end up so poor?

I was speaking with a professor on this topic and he professed that aid from western countries to poor African nations is used as Economic warfare to stifle the farmers, by flooding the country with "humanitarian" aid. This is a problem in all corners of Somalia/Somaliland.
