Why can't these EU and NGO people just build some infrastructures like a state of the art major hospital or school.

Yes. You can't build anything useful with that. Plus with the corruption it's not going to do anything. This is more of pr stunt than anything useful.
If they really wanted to help they'd give us the tools and knowledge. They should be giving us tractors and teaching modern farming methods and water management so we can be food secure.
This shit is so embarrassing. We literally have gold deposits sitting in the sanaag mountains. Generating enough money to cover the government's budget. Instead of taking that they'd rather hover and sign a stupid $14m deal. How embarrassing is that? Look at the nigga in the back acting like they're signing a $10billion dollar deal lol

@codewebsduh the west is finished when china extracts it's resources from Africa and africa starts to serve china as a 'breadbasket' for energy. China isn't seeking gold from africa, they want africa to serve as their energy provider so it can be free from the western world's constant interfering in china and it's neighbors politics. Don't forget 'Russia' either, it may not be a huge economic power but it's still up there as a security innovator and power.
If we join the belt and road initiative and serve as a port to china, while having russia as a security partner, we will have covered our security needs and also our economic need. Infact we could even turn Somalia as a 'international' finance hub and be the new 'dubai' in the belt and road initiative or the new singapore as they serve only as a 'transcorridor' for the west and china and took advantage of it's location.
Puntland will always be a key partner in any belt n road intiative as we have 50% of Somalia territorial waters.
