Yes they do,it is a very detailed game.I think fighting Ethiopia in the game is pointless.Its much better to have good relations with them and expand elswhere like Yemen and the Swahili coast

Adal is so fucking weak in that game it's almost impossible to beat Ethiopia because it's hard raising and sustaining an army with no money or manpower, you have to get good relations and be allied with the mamluks and other neighboring Muslim countries and fight them that way...
