That’s Jimcaale on the terror list. Ahmed Yusuf (Sacuudi) is someone else. Sacuudi and jimcaale’s team set up hormuud with 10 initial investors back in 2002 in Saudi Arabia. Sacuudi was the founder and the one who brought the idea and majority shareholder same time. Jimcaale got a lot of shares and he was around during its start up. Cos barakaat that jimcaale owned got seized by the US gov. It was only a couple of years back when Kheyre removed Jimcaale from the Global Terror list which cost him to loose Al Barakaat. Sacuudi helped pay off jimcaale’s debt back in 2001/2002

And inshallah they only go farther, hopefully t delkom communications guys that are jealous of hormuud’s success don’t try and sabotage it like they already have been doing. Everytime Hassan sheikh is president, there’s an issue they have with Hormuud.

Dalkom already operates in Somalia. Without them there is no internet. Dalkom literally owns the Telecommunication Submarine Cable, International gateway, Application Service Provider (ASP) and Content service Provider (CSP) licensesas well as an independent infrastructure that includes 1 international landing stations in Mogadishu connecting the country to the rest of the world through submarine cables. These gateways are in turn connected to major cities in Somalia through City Metros and National Backbone. They have connected major Cities in Kenya and Uganda via EASSy (Largest submarine cable on Africa’s eastern seaboard) East Africa from Mombasa.

The owner is the most wanted guy by Shabaab that’s how important he is. Farmaajo even begged him to cut the internet supply at one point during the uprising :dead:The guy even holds 10% Equity in EASSY and 9.13% in WIOCC. Through WIOCC, Dalkom Somalia has equity in EIG (Europe-India gateway) and WACs (West Africa Cable Systemity) submarine cables.

Both Dalkom and Hormuud are owned by Murusade. Dalkom owner is named Mohamed Jama. He is Hilibi Habar Maxamed Foolculus
