Turkey faces a lot of these attacks since they're right next to daesh.

The fact that the media is not reporting this like they reported the airport massacre in Istanbul is weird though

at the airport if I recall correctly daesh were trying to attack some european non muslims or a particular person of interest, I guess that's the difference

It's not necessarily daesh. Apparently the attack target police officers, which is the MO of the PKK.
