Peace guys, my time on this site has come to a end. I accepted it last week but I finally officially got approved for my coop at a fortune 500 software company. This is it for me. My journey starts here and im so excited . I've waited my whole life to start my career and to me it's going to be the most important thing in my life.

I start in the middle of January but I'm going to be doing some self studying to brush up and prepare myself. I plan on making a lasting impression, even if I end up just getting coffee for eeveryone.but yeah I feel like I can't afford to waste anymore time here.

@sophisticate Lol nah I'm not that smart. I realized this when I started university and took in how much smarter a bunch of indho yars were. Only thing I have going for me, and most of them don't, is I am really passionate about what I study. I actually look forward to every class. Hard work and my dedication is whatll take me far in my line of work. That's what actually got me the job lool. My buddy has a way better GPA than me, except I had a lot of side projects and had a good convo with the interviewer about techy shit.

Passion/ a good attitude trumps aptitude any day. And trust me even that can be improved with time. Your prior work history, side projects and ability to connect with the interviewer got you there. You can't rely on GPA alone (in the case of your friend). And if you continue at it Insha'Allah bigger and better things are on the horizon. Just keep it up and don't lose your tenacity - it's an asset.
