There isn't much manufacturing besides 1 or 2 major plants, their is no diversity at all. It seems like a town controlled by one or two rich people in all honesty, the small manufacturing base which is what employs the most isn't simply there. America for example would be nothing without small to medium enterprises because when you walk outside that's all you see in their market place, the corporates and large ones are very small in the gdp stake. You don't know much about the Puntland economy the actual in figures because you guys dont measure it. the only way you guys recently found out was that "world bank" report which has many flaws...

Whereas I know the last few years Somaliland had a shit economy thanks to our only competent group: Somaliland Central Statistics Department who release a Consumer Price Index after every month highlighting inflation / gdp among other indicators check out the latest on the thread i made.

I am yet to see small to medium growing in somaliland, I am sorry bruv you can't deny it either. It's either diaspora or local rich men(a very few at the top), which proves as I said, there is no active 'middle base' in the locals.

This is quite common sight in Puntland sxb and happens quite regularly these sorts of programs. It's growing our middle base, the stronger the middle, the stronger the GDP. America is built on the backs of the middle class and everyone knows that, not the few rich at the top. My future and your Id00r future is bright cuz its puntland

@SirLancelLord it's so bad over there your isaaq average person can't succeed in somaliland, there all piled up in bosaso and you know that, the land of opportunity for ALL not for 'indho deero, dahabshil and omar' the society can't grow with that sort of arrangement and poverty won't decrease, it's a monopoly on the economy and it's not diversifying and touching the bottom to middle layers of society which is where the bulk of people are.

You are a fkn clown sometimes sxb. You need to come to PL and learn how it's done to decrease poverty. Poverty didn't decrease to our levels because of nothing sxb. We don't have huge 'monopolizers' in our market place, it's open for all to succeed. It's a truly free market.

Not this time, the department is at the hands of Europeans who create policy society and standard and make sure the ministry enforces it to retain their funding.

Only time will tell if this is genuine
