I am not a faraax but my mom cleans my brothers dirty room for him once a month while he lays on his bed and I deep clean my room every week because I value my cleanliness and then my mom just tells me to clean her room too or that I missed a spot 
One time my brother was sweeping the floor (SHOCKER) cause he spilled something and my mom rushed to do it for him. I feel like a lot of guys are blind to this cause they’re so used to it but hooyos treat their sons like their husbands the dynamic is so weird and creepy.

A lot of mums of all backgrounds spoil their sons.
Boys never see this because like you said they’re use to it. Also it’s a privilege working in their favour so they have zero interest to acknowledge or dismantle it.

That's crazy I would have expected older somali women to be sympathetic to somali girls. What does your mom say if you tell her 'why cant he do it himself?'

older somali women are very rude to the younger generation. Not talking my mom, my mom is very nice aside from the misogyny lol. But older somali women are definitely judgemental of younger girls because we are young and get to live our lives and they are old housewives who have nothing to do but gossip and insult girls while their husband is overseas on a “business trip” i.e. with his younger wife. Its in the girls interest for her to be brought up doing things in the house because when she gets married the husband will expect that and that husband they may marry will also of had a hoyo who pampered him when he was young

Obviously yes. Girls are supposed to cook and clean and the men are the breadmakers. 
You mostly cook yourself but you can only make Omelets and beans. Fam you’re unnecessarily starving yourselfCleaning, naw, I do that shit myself.
As for cooking, my mother only does it on certain occasions. I mostly cook for myself, although my cooking skills are below-par. I only know how to make omelets and bake beans.
