The new list consists of few new universities the incompetnent ministry added to their list after they received a wide criticism for politicizing the education of PL/JL/SL based universities

The new list consist of over 5 universities in Puntland , 2 in Somaliland region(Awdal) and one In Jubbaland co-owned by Farmaajo subclan and close associates.

Funniest part of all this is that the SO called ministry sent an email yesterday for the final call to the accredition process, which is basically pay this much money to me and you are approved, I mean How TF does one accredit a university if you can't even visit the campus.

Walahi Somalia is a joke, kulahaa in the email" ALL UNIVERSITIES IN Somalia should come up show up tomorrow at ministry of education at KM Zoobe,the same exact spot the largest terrorist attack in Somali history has taken place .
These incompetent beaucracts in Hamar need to get their assess up and a actually visit the schools around the country and do an actual accredition just like everyone In the whole wide world does.

Universities in Somalia are a joke Walahi, you just need a building (residential-Not even commercial property) and a fancy name, just add International and university on your trademark and you are in business.

I wonder why Gedo International University didn't make it to the list,It is where great minds like @Calaf @TekNiKo has received their post graduate education in Hunting and toilet usage.

Weren't you the one claiming that the FGS was deliberately ostracising students in Puntland by not including their schools on the list of credible universities? Now that the government has added those schools to the list, suddenly you have a problem with this?



They literally expanded the list of accredited institutions from 6 to 41! This move ends years of discrimination against students all across Somalia and allows them to continue their education in Turkey. What more do you want?

This entire issue about the FGS "politicising" the education of Somali students was a complete fabrication to begin with. Seriously. Go read the original article and then the thread. Most people didn't even read the piece and instead began a prolonged circle-jerk about the evil FGS. What they don't realise is this was a pre-existing problem the current administration inherited and subsequently solved. Instead of praising their government’s efforts to make international education accessible for more people, they retreat into denialism and misinformation. Utterly mind-boggling.
