I did some digging around and spoke to some well connected people around mayfair were Soma oil has a office, these are old friends used to work with & their Saudi colleague well connected including a Norwegian embassy staff.

The story that's spread is that Qatar financed him and Fahad Yasin is the invisible ruler like Henry kissinger, the same dude that got HSM elected got Farmaajo elected.

I found this hard to believe since his first visit to Saudi whom are known to have not so good relations with Qatar and other irregularities.

As always you begin by following the money, the person that has been funding Farmaajo in his 10 year campaign is none other then this PM he choose, not many people know that under GSM & Norsom and virtually most NGO's are all backed by Norway, every single water rig and water wells dug in Somalia was done by Norway, 70 in Galmudug alone and more then 150 in P/land

These projects include a dozen of schools/universities etc. Jawaari the speaker has Norwegian passport, they virtually pay all the salaries of all MP's even the federal states, their biggest foreign aid goes to Somalia.

I will make another post on why in due course, this is classic neo colonialism, they built him from the ground up and turned him into a tycoon, he is described as a genius by all that I met, certainly is in my eyes if a decade ago he saw a populist and began financing him.

The USSR trained 5 of our top generals and all those countless officers and built the 38000 army for us and equipped them. If they can manage the same it would be great.

:cosbyhmm:
Are you implying Farmaajo is corrupt because he put his largest donor in a high position of power?

I mean he learned from the best. US politicians are notorious for this kind of corruption. E.g. Betsy Devos.
:snoop:
Lakiin I can't say I'm mad at this news. Norway is a majority liberal country. And as fellow liberal I wholeheartedly applaud them.
:rejoice:

Plus as long as anybody but the arabs is funding our country I'm good.

@Assata Shakur

I am a realist, you wont survive without a financier and a good patriotic ones are hard to come by, this is a very good match up for both, everything I am hearing about him even from the Norwegian embassy staff had dinner with tonight described as a genius. we will wait and see.

Aren't Norway backing Kenya in our sea case? I'm not happy hearing this.

The American/EU have a deal between how the loot will be shared, Norway is given the oil in the entire coast of Africa, but for the moment she is only interested the most in Somalia, her whole foreign aid budget Somalia tops it for several years.

So far in terms of numbers, 70 wells in Galmudug, 150+ in P/land, 100+ South-West, keep in mind each of these water wells costs around 200k, and this is not factoring in the water rigs, they are all from Norway.

Much of the schools/universities are all Norway, in Gaalkacayo, Bosaaso, Garowe, Mogadishu etc. People have totally no idea how deep they go, everybody wants to work for Norwegian NGO's and they only employ top people that have a track record.

I wouldn't really mind if they actually wanted to build a strong Somali state to be honest, what do they say about Somaliland and have they been adding fuel to the conflict in Somalia?

I don't root for anyone, I would use them all to the maximum of my capabilities for the betterment of my people & country, this is how all prosperous nations behave, it's all interest driven and hedging your bets accordingly.

There are no permanent friends in this game, why rely on that one guy that may leave you all of a sudden right?

I haven't heard a single bad stuff from anyone inside or outside the country in regards to Norway yet, I am still digging things up, I haven't really shined the torch on Norway yet, but so far so good, think about it, they have been paying the salaries of all MP's, stating as a reason for ensuring 'stability'.

They now have Norwegian citizens in 2 of the top 3 positions in the Government, with Farmaajo pretty much being funded for a decade by the PM that has kinship relations with his wife. They are after the oil contracts in the sea, but they have been planning this for a decade leaving a good legacy so far from what I have seen, but I will have more info soon

Sounds great. We were on the verge of being colonized by Ethiopia and we need to get out of our current predicament. In a few generations we'll be able to nationalize the oil industry either way, even 80/20 would be great if the money doesn't go to corrupt MP's.

Dont forget, Norwegians are the best offshore drillers and they can pinpoint exactly where all the oil is. But like u just said 20% is still good because we literally were about to get colonized by Ethiopia and Kenya :ohdamn: lol walahi I wouldn't know how to live myself :siilaanyolaugh:

I will just wait and see, however Norway is better than British that sides with Ethiopia/Kenya against us. For once, let us have Norway as big brother. They are new face/player in the world of colonial and Somalia is their first pet project in Africa. Sure they will be good to impress rest of continent.

kheyre-

There was a time he was broke men (Kheyre) and his freind bailed him out once-, I have info about, this guy.( you win and lose money waa caadi).

But he is not a Tycoon.

I'm good freind with kheyre good freind brother,- his friend is someone who they ,worked together, eat together, and etc.

lately -his friend requested to be considered for role of minister -
and he submitted his cv and discussed it, with farmaajo , and finally was offered the job ,as a deputy Prime minister, his friend is well educated, businessmen, worked with world bank, and has worked with many NGO.

He declined the job due to pressure coming from northern political ministers and the family.

Plenty of videos on youtube, I don't want to expose his friend out of privacy issue.

I can tell you Norway and Kheyre did not fund his campaign for 10 years.

there is a video online (I was searching couldn't find it- where farmaajo said a young guys ayaa is abaabuley, and encouraged him again to run for presidential seat).

Plus norway is world leader in wind technology with somalia having the most wind resources in the world it's a good marriage for both parties.
