Also 30KM might be far fetched since Degmada Hodan isn't fully safe for Government officials:faysalwtf:
His preoccupation with not being seen as qabiilist in a qabiilest society is mind boggling it will take generations to wipe that mentality from Somalis Hawiye are so weak and tired of war if Siad Barre was resurrected out of his grave with 20,000 Red Berets descending on Xamar 80% of Hawiye would support him what’s up with this beta male Farmaajo :mindblown:

He isnt willing to do what's willing to be done. No one can run the show without murdering thousands of people who stand to benefit from the status quo. I've always said, in Somalia, only a strongman can rule the country.

Also, we want to implement Western democracy to people who don't believe/practice the basic tenants of what democracy entails(freedom of speech/religion, etc..)?:gucciwhat: It won't work.
It's like attempting to turn Sweden into an authoritarian country. Will not work.

Since it's the west who are backing/pushing this whole democratic somalia, I say they know it won't work, and we were set up, to fail.:manny:

Half of those niggas in the Parliament sign legal documents with their thumbs and at times, with an X. 80% of the country is illiterate.:kodaksmiley:

Yeah let's force democracy on those people.:mjlol:

Somali people are xoolo, they have to be kept in chains. Anything less than that, and they'll revolt and destroy any government in place, or fight to death to stop a new government from being built.

so in short, farmaajo has to be like msb, but 100X more brutal.:manny: and that won't happen, so somalia is fuked until such a man takes over.

I don’t know how people thought a guy with an American passport with a life in the United States would undermine America’s policy for Somalia to keep us in division, corruption, terrorism and a weak government it’s literally been their policy on us since 1991 with no signs of change:lawd:

it isn't about the guy tho. they could put in the most patriotic faarax, born and raised in Somalia itself and nothing would change. Why? because we are not ready for democracy. We still fight along qabiil lines, most people are armed, we have terrorists running around.

under democracy, the president doesn't have a lot of power and that's the problem. what can farmaajo do when doesn't have a lot of power?:cosbyhmm: Due to his limited power, he cant fix any of the problems I've mentioned.

Democracy won't work in somalai, we have to adopt another mode of governance. I'd take a military government or a dictator but the west would sanction us to oblivion. at the end of the day, it's a lose lose situation unless we can get a strong man in there and get fully backed by someone like Russia.

Farmajo is not perfect but he is doing great job. You seem to have unrealistic expectations. Somalia has been suffering for 27 years don't expect everything to change overnight!

It as a plot to bring qurbojoog to lead waddanka. @Ferrari Compare a leader who stayed in somalia post 91 to someone who left and has a foothold in the west. One would be more waddani than the other :manny:

Get sheikh sharif = complain
Get hassan sheikh = complain
Get Farmaajo = complain
{insert who ever} = complain

Instead of always opposing who ever is in charge when things don’t go our way, how about compromising and helping the government succeed, so that the next one does better.

:)

I wish we understood that time waits for no one, soon we will be our parents ages, they thought the war would last be over in months, they thought we would return in no time and it’s been 30 years almost. Inshallah we will be the generation that walk the walk and not be reduced to sideline politics aka fadhi ku dirir :)

When Abdullahi Yusuf went to Xamar he used his power to help MJs get their homes back from squatters. Farmaajo ain't even doing that forget anything else :farmajoyaab:[/SPOILER]

Don't restrict Saint Abdullahi Yusuf and his accomplishments to a few houses. That guy brought dawlad back and recaptured every essential economic lifelines of Xamar. Aside from sleeping in Villa Somalia for the first time since Siad Barre, he captured and brought the port to the government from Saleebaan militia, he captured and reopened the airport from Ceyr militia and cleansed mooryaans from bakaraha market from mooryaan militia. He had bigger plans but when that wasn't feasible, he resigned.

I agree with Shaolin, if you have an ounce of dignity you'd resign if things don't go your way. Farmaajo is too soft.

The port, airport and bakaraha market (even though alshabaab taxes them as well) is till today the only source of income for the government. When hawiyes falsely claim that only xamar pays taxes, tell them before that you use to pay taxes to warlords at much higher rates.

What I meant is that Abdullahi Yusuf was engaged in politics and accomplished a lot and he made the wise decision of using his power to help his kin on a social level. He knew qabiil was how zoomaalis worked and he used his power to also help his clan so that that even the MJ civilian walking down the street gets his property back benefitting him:ehh:

Mr Cheese fired a Reer Dalal general and replaced him with a fucking huutu :mindblown::westbrookwtf::williamswtf::kanyehmm:

They conplained about the first sheikhs because they were abgaal. Even though it is the most logical thing, since those men lived where they worked and as a result have a vested interest in the capital being save and well.
They're complaining about farmaajo because they expected him to put qabilism first and make darood great again, but he just turned into money stealing scoundrel.
