• Political control is being able to control the politics of a given area, which Farmaajo is trying to do.

• Military control is being able to control the area itself, which should be done soon.

Farmaajo is now trying to have a political system that will work for the next few generations in Somalia. The status quo was a temporary stop-gap to prevent Somalia from falling apart like it was about. Now, Somalia is on its way to having a streamlined federal system like Australia and the US.
