Naf jeceyl hayo isn't vintage either. I made a thread a few months ago about this song and different versions of it. There's two Somali versions, one sung by the female singer, the other by King Khalid. Then two Afari versions called Foya Yinti (?). And even an Amharic version. The comment sections of these songs are full of people arguing about which song is the original.
I've read somewhere than the Somali verison sung by the female is just a response (jawaab) song (or part 2 of) King Khalid's. I've also read that the original is Afari written by an Afari Djiboutian songwriter (Abdalla Lee) for his wife called Nagma. Then some dude called Sidi Celi Weynkey copied Lee's tune and used Somali lyrics.
