The FGS is indirectly refusing to send the diaspora boats funded to Gedo. 10 boats are currently sitting in Xamar, particularly by Minister Fiqi politicizing the situation. Minister of Aviation in Mogadishu are refusing to give clearance to Airlines due to flooded airstrips, Meanwhile only luuq airport has been affected by floods.
The Marxuum can travel to Gedo and Do Igu Sawir but boats can’t SMH.

Why don't reer Gedo do maalgelin to Baraawe or Marka port. Since they already use the Baidoa - Baladxaawo road?

I'm pretty sure Baraawe is geographically closer to Gedo then Xamar. They could use either Baraawe or Kismaayo port whichever is more convenient.

The main problem now is that mogadishu is a hub for internal flights inside somalia and thise boats were coming by air.So we need another city to challenge that. Perhaps when kismaayo get rid of madoobe they can challenge that.

Update: The Diaspora will be buying the boats from Mombasa and bring it through Mandera.
