Finland ranked as the happiest country for the 4th year in a row.

Finland has been named the happiest place in the world for a fourth year running, in an annual UN-sponsored report.
The World Happiness Report saw Denmark in second place, then Switzerland, Iceland and the Netherlands.
New Zealand was again the only non-European nation in the top 10. The UK fell from 13th to 17th place.
Data from analytics researcher Gallup asked people in 149 countries to rate their own happiness.
Measures including social support, personal freedom, gross domestic product (GDP) and levels of corruption were also factored in.
The country deemed the most unhappy in the world was Afghanistan, followed by Lesotho, Botswana, Rwanda and Zimbabwe.

These Nordic countries manipulate their happiness statistics by uplifting the lowest socioeconomic segment of their population.

I don't think their middle class and upper class are the happiest in the world.

Cadaans are liars, making seem Africans/ blacks and minorities are depressed/ hopeless worldwide

These alcoholics dont even know what happiness even means

Those statistics are legit, but misleading.

Nordic countries are good for the poorest classes, but stifle the potential of all other classes.

I’ve heard cost of living back home is cheaper and it helps that most people over there aren’t as materialistic as us. Recipe for happiness.

As a person who lives in Finland, I guarantee you guys, this statistic is false. I have lived with them my whole life. Only way they are happy is when they are drunk. They start heavily drinking at the age of 15-17 and it just goes up. Also finnish culture is very antisocial which makes a lot of people lonely.

Material wealth does not mean happiness
