First gas station in Dhahran was owned by a Somali

This is the first gas station in my hometown of Dhahran. It was owned by a Somali businessman and opened its doors in 1957. The first restaurant in Dhahran was a owned by a Somali too and he is still in business but he had to relocate his restaurant to a residential part of Dhahran.

There were many Somalis there, especially the city of Dhahran. Perhaps half of the population was Somalis in that city
There were Somalis in King Abdulaziz's army even when he was unifying Saudi Arabia

That's actually true. We knew a person who fought in King Abdulaziz Army. In addition, to that many people worked for King Abdulaziz in civilian Jobs. His chief Mechanic was a Warsangeli for instance and he threw away the dealership rights of Toyota. This guy could've become one of the wealthiest people in Saudi Arabia. Somalis had it really really good here up until 1991.

My uncle told me about him. He sold it and moved back to hargeisa as a Saudi citizen. Do you know their whereabouts now?
