I'm surprised he is even explaining it. It was pretty obvious from his channel that he just visits all countries regardless of the safety. He's not actively seeking to go to war zones. They just happen to exist.

If you really watch Drew's travel videos then you will know that he stresses on the positives of a country more than he does on the negatives.

In that case, they must've paid him when he visited Libya, and other third world african countries.


E.g Bhutan is neither a warzone nor a third world country. It's a developing country yet Drew criticized it.

Does anyone know the somali guy he was with? How does he have the ability to get him a visa, it legit took me forever to get my friend one and I had use my connections. I highly doubt drew got paid to come to somalia he's already been to SL so it makes sense him would check out the south too

I don’t think he’s getting paid to say this at all but his mission is to visit EVERY nation on earth and Somalia is one of them, of course Mogadishu is not an ideal holiday destination for any sane person but still it is the capital of Federal Republic of Somalia and it needs to be visited and reviewed.

Paid to see the stable side of somalia plus the allure the name in it's self why wouldnt he go . Theres another youtuber who went to SL just to title the damn thing SOMALIA in caps cause he knows the people from the west dont give a damn about our in fighting
