FGS could not support itself without the help of foreign states including ethiopia, to arm Ethiopian separatists, you need to get arms that the separatists don't have, anti tank missiles, land mines, drones, anti aircraft missiles, etc. Egypt through Sudan can do that, but don't want to.

So, FGS could not do what Fiqi is saying.

Their Somali backed rebels won the war, EPLF gained Eritrea their independence and TPLF decided to take over all of Ethiopia instead of seceding like we expected them to, brutalizing us for the next couple decades until Meles died.

Our Ethiopian backed rebels won, SNM is still looking for recognition and the rest, the less said about them the better
