Anyone think that the post-oil future of the 21st century will create a better world for muslims? Currently, it seems that sheiks in the Middle East radicalize non-Arab Muslim populations (Nigeria, India, Somali) while preventing foreign influence into their own countries.

South Asia is dominated by indigenous Deobandis. Somalis are in two camps atleast in SL, the Saudi Salafi camp & the South Asian Deobandi Tablighi Jamaat. I’ve personally seen many Pakistani & Afghan Sheikhs in Hargeisa visiting their local Deobandi brothers.

Somalis are 75% Salafist 10% Sufis 15% Deobandis.

Yes, a lot of them tbh. Not sure about Burco but Hargeisa is full of them.
