This story will likely soon break in the tabloids, it was a tense confrontation that happened at the election and many people are now reporting this from across the hall.
It's a classic tale of Xaasidnimo that goes back since the day he became PM and a protest erupted in Garowe against his appointment because the seat belonged to MJ (a euphemism for Mohamoud Saleeban)
The same threat was carried to him that day using Mahiga the African union representative that was extremely Pro P/land at the time (because they gave him a Somali wife, image posted below) classic colonial bait tactics.
They won that time, and the same threat was made to him at the end of election this time promising the same quick departure as last time, reports are that Gaas fraction was very incensed over his refusal to meet his delegation.
Gaas is also PRO HSM and the deal was his man Diini would be appointed as a PM and he would keep Faroole out of P/land as a result.
Diini was the man that made it possible for Gaas to get elected ahead of Faroole whom gave a passionate speech when he absconded from running, describing the people of Mogadishu as the most pure of Somali's he had seen.
To understand this trigger point better, we need to look at Saacid when he was PM, did everything he could to appease them but in the end he was supposedly not 'Darood' enough (euphemism for not carrying the triangle's agenda) due to his wife they claimed controlled him.
Reports are that even mudane AUN Cadde Muuse got involved just before his death (I wonder if the shock of this was a result of the heart attack), the situation has turned on it's head, they are demanding as a truce for him to appoint a Murursade and no Hiraab as a PM, no reasons why, maybe lesson fictitious shame or classic bargaining tool because Farmaajo cannot be wooed like others.
Meanwhile it looks likely Farmaajo will go with either Fiqhe, C/Nasir or Ossoble as PM and most likely it's either Fiqhe or C/Nasir so far.
Let's pray Farmaajo survives this ugly warfare, it's opening up on many fronts now with Ethiopia, Kenya and now Gaas becoming the first to openly threaten him, a man when Farmaajo resigned, he along with Shariif undercover got Gaas to get the PM post ahead of an Ethiopian stooge candidate they wanted, is now stabbing him the back.
