brother I was wondering why some people refer to Tanade Darood as Darbi Darood, aren't they Darood themselves, how can they be wall for Darood, when they are the Darood themselves and who are these Darood they are a wall for, I am sure they are not wall for Dhulbahante, Ogaden, Jidwaaq, MX, Gerri Koombe, Warsangili etc, I have always known them to be cool headed people full of Wadaado and ganacsato, this nickname Darbi Darood sounds like backhanded compliment and xan.

It’s meant to be a nice naynaas, it’s to highlight their strength not necessarily labeling them as mooryaan. In truth there’s no Darood wall, every man defends himself but the name has stuck.
