Galmudug Republic and Puntland Republic prepare for new round of clashes of superiority in Gaalkacyo

I'm dyslexic when it comes to the Somali language. It takes 15 seconds to understand a sentence so I prefer it translated to me.

Also there are many ways to write each word in Somali which makes it more difficult.

The problem in Galkacyo is that Galmudug doesn't accept the green line that runs through the city. The airport that is being revamped is in the north-east of the city, clearly on Puntland's side, but they still claim it because it was "public" some 26 years ago. The best solution in my opinion would be to bulldoze the old airport, subdivide and sell the land. Puntland can then build the new airport some 5 km north of the city.
Galmudug is worried about some rundown pothole filled runway from the 60s instead of trying to free Ceelbuur from Alshabab, incredibly shortsighted.

This is the third development project they are trying to sabotage. The shortsightedness you're talking about goes even deeper as their only strategy is to sabotage development and hope for Reer Galkacyood to leave the city for Nugaal and Bari area's.

This doesn't look good for Puntland, and development agencies will think twice before they invest in Galkacyo.
