Same promises they gave to Yemen, Berbera, bosaaso etc. even the Ethiopians made big promises for Berbera, yet nothing was fulfilled.

You would have thought that by now people would be aware but qabiil is a hell of a drug, had anyone else sold out like this, you would be the first to criticise, but her you are touting it as a success.

The reality of the matter is that this was expected, the top brass creates the shares out of thin air with the intention of selling it off to UAE when they come calling, and using the average Somali that invested as bait to drive up the price.

It's like building a business with the sole intention of selling it to oligarchs for hefty exit, there will be a lot of millionaires from this deal but only the corrupt few benefit, the average share owner that's put everything into this along with the state of puntland will be the biggest losers in the end as those shares go to zero.

This is basic conflict of interest, it's not rocket science, take them out in their infancy before it becomes more expensive to do so, smart business to keep the monopoly going and the boot on your neck, kill every trace of self determination and self sufficiency.

I was hoping this toxic man left the forum, but here he is, rearing his unwanted head. If you insist on discussing Bosaso. The Bosaso project is going well, with the expansion well-underway, and other major development projects in the works. Such as the renewable energy project, which is completed.

Furthermore, at which point have I said I agree with this deal? I don't agree with it, I am merely relaying the terms of the deal.

As for 'sold out', you are the last person anyone should answer to regarding Puntland. Oradoo danahaaga raaco, and worry about who is purchasing Hobyo, and how long before that 'port' sinks into the sea.

Thanks for the info

This is so sad and everyone who did this is a traitor and should be arrested.
The UAE does not allow to own their ports, airports, energy and telcos.
So why should Somalia?
What do we own? Nothing.

Part of the appeal of Garacad Port was that it was incepted by Somalis, funded by Somalis exclusively, and was built from nothing. It was a testament to what we can do as a civilians, or as a government, for our nation. Something to be truly celebrated.

Whatever you think about how good the deal was, that appeal has now gone.

I don't want any deal personally, I don't like foreign agreements even if it's temporary.

But the real reason we are in this predicament, is because USC mooryaans like to withhold development funding. This is what happens when the federal government is hijacked by thugs with no vision, and no self-respect.

Exactly now such a shame the UAE now have a majority stake

Why do you think they didn’t hold out until 2026? IMO this is Deni’s best chance of becoming president.

HSM is untenable, everyone still hates Farmaajo so only real competition is Khaire. He’s not going to withhold money if he touches the kursi

Khayre was part and parcel of Nabar and Naxdin, his little re-brand doesn't fool me.

Bullshit! Kheyre got nothing to do with that low iq party. Stop lying. You know it’s xaaram. Us Murusade don’t need to withhold other people’s money. We got plenty of it already.

What's lying about it? Khayre was N&N until he fell out with Farmaajo. You always get personally affronted when I say I dislike Khayre.

He should not count Puntland as a support base.
