When I was in Garowe last year, I was so surprised to learn that >95% of the power demand in the city was covered solely by renewables. I hope to see all of Puntland being exclusively powered by renewables in the near future insha Allah.

Has the price dropped though? since it's cheaper for them over the long-term(no cost of oil) but obviously they need make their investment back firstly, the price should start dropping in 5 years time. They got the whole market in garowe, how many are connected to it anyways?

Yes indeed the price has dropped. Before storage/renewable energy came to Garowe, the price was $0.97 per kilowatt, and now the price is $0.79 per kilowatt.
