Kuwait the mediator just got Qatar a 48hr extension. I hope Saudi and its allies sever all ties with Qatar.

With the Iranian backed rebels in Yeman and the GCC Crisis Somaliland could get independence.

Farmaajo is in a very sticky situation. If he doesn't cut ties with Qatar, Saudi and co will 100% give Somaliland recognition.

I am sure Trump would recognise Somaliland. Its everything he is for, a self built state that doesn't rely on international aid. Nigel Farage could do some bidding for us aswell.

Wallahi we are soo close man. We just got to endure couple more months. May Allah bless us with Ictiraaf.

Yes UAE already signed dev projects with somaliland yesterday.

Saudis will follow giving us exclusive rights for livestock export to GCC, which in 2015 was worth $350 million. :rejoice:

GCC crisis has benefitted Qatar more than anything. Food prices are record low in Qatar than it has ever been.

What would Sland benefit from few Arabs recognising them? I don't think the Arab-Sland relationships would increase due to recognition, it's already at the its climax. It won't buy you a seat in the UN either. It would be the most useless recognition ever. What has Palestine gained from Arab recognition?

If the GCC recognizes Somaliland, then Ethiopia and Kenya will do the same which they have already promised. Ethiopia will then proceed to get the rest of Africa to follow suit.

Then we will carve up south somalia into little independent qabil states.

The south is dysfunctional they are too thirsty for land instead of developing their own. Why would Somaliland want to be governed by people 1k km away when they would develop a lot faster if they focused on their own region/ports.

In the next few decades there will be east west clash like the old Cold War between the us and the soviets but this time it will be China and we must take advantage of this too
