Gedo the 1st region of Somalia to be occupied by Ethiopia

Ethiopia was first invited into Gedo region by Cumar Xaaji Maxamed (Masalle) the Dhabodhilif commander of the defunct clan milita called SNF.

Ethiopia officially entered the region in 1994 up until 1996 where they expanded their military operation against Al Itihad Islamist forces fighting in the region. The Ethiopians managed to capture the towns of Doolow,Luuq, Beledxaawo & Buurdhuubo where they continue to occupy to this day!!

I don’t care what security operations Ethiopia does in the region as long as they don’t try to politically interfere with the affairs of the Somali government using the region as a base. A good Qushaash is a dead one. I don’t support terrorists, I’m not desperate like you!
