The comments section in that vid is a warzone lol.
That guy can never walk as a free man in Somalia. He has got a lot of civilian blood on his hands, and no one in Xamar has forgotten that, and him saying to the amxaaro "xaafada Heliwa dhulka haa lala simo."
He should just enjoy the rest of his life in Kenya and stay out of politics.

HG and Duduuble mainly....the headquarters of the ICU. The two districts that faced the brute force of the Ethiopians was Hawl wadaag(Bakaaro) and Heliwa.That comment video is mad with abgaal supporting Geedi and I'm guessing HG saying "why did you interview this traitor who brought Ethiopians to Xamar who i witnessed killing my relatives."
I remember hearing from one uncle that during the Ethiopian invasion of Xamar, Fuad Shongolle(think he is leelkase or awrtable) who was part of the ICU at the time stood up in a masjid in the Guleed/Faqah area and said "War Abgaalow. Ilaahi marku yiri

Another saying that was famous during that time was some abgaal saying " Jannah oo Habar gidir dadka u yeereyso waxa iga fiican naaru jahanam ini lugu tuuro."
Btw all kaftan aside. You can support AY or think Geedi and him were in the right, that they were just trying to bring a functioning government to Xamar and restoring he Somali state....however what you can't deny is that amxaaro are cadoow and that they killed a lot of innocent Somalis...

Ive heard from many people at that time who said dadka odeyaasha gave leg ups to the youngsters and kids to climb over the walls before the Ethiopians entered the masjid compound so they wouldn't be killed. The youngsters escaped but a lot of elders were massacred in the masjid and its compound. The masjid was a tabliighi masjid before anyone says it was alshabaab or something.

If the ICU were left to their own devices and not scattered, they would’ve attacked other Somali deegans, much like their predecessors ittihad who tried the same in 92 and were driven out by AY in what is now PL. they had to be defeated. Bush administration were behind it and paid the Ethiopians to invade. Meles was even hesitant to do it in the beginning.
