Private equities and national trusts as an example can combat this.

It isn’t solely about how you protect yourself, it’s also what about what can you do with your wealth.

If a Somali private equity buys assets abroad, they own them. Africa’s problem is there’s no intellectual property production, you can't live off resources forever.

You either produce intellectual property or you buy it—and Africans aren’t don’t both.

Thats exact reason why World Trade Organization exists, they force you to import excess over produced products into ur country and u can't say no to them or they'll severely fine u, and if u try to make the imported products urself, the WTO would force u to follow a very tough rules where it's almost impossible to produce it. So what u end up becoming is a cash crop for these companies at the expense of ur local businesses b/c they can't compete with cheaper excess expired products from abroad.
