Gifted Kid issues

Back when I was in elementary school, and in middle school, I was always in the gifted programs and in the National Honor Society along with getting into math and literature olympiads as well. now that I am in HS i just feel like shit when I was younger I could just take a quick peek or skim over something and understand it immediately so I didnt really have to study at all but now that im older shit hit the fan. 9th grade I hade a 2.5 gpa and 10th grade i had a 3.0 and I just feel like im retarded as shit now due to me not having any studying routines lol

wallahi the gifted program has to be one of the worst things a child can go through in the US fucking ruins people

You are still gifted its only the task get harder as you age so you need to work a bit harder to achieve your goals.

Calling a kid gifted is a sure way to make them a failure. Because it discourages them from handwork and makes them believe in a false notion of superiority.

GPAs are on a 4 point scale. Many highschools will award scores higher than 4 to give credit to the student for taking harder classes (APs and Honor classes typically). It is not possible to have a 93.98. You probably aren't a liar, you're just really dumb. Did you ever have a PIP as a student? I'm going to guess that you did.

I remember, theres a video talking about this. You really really messed up by getting a low gpa as a freshmen. You dont need to study at all in high school, especially if you are in regular classes. So ill assume you were lazy or some other thing happened. But getting a gpa of 2.5 as a freshmen is like an academic felony. Youre basically strapped to the community college method even if you do figure out you messed up later on. Yup I know plenty of idiots that didnt care as a freshmen and their just starting to figure out how much they messed up. Luckily theres a way out and you can do 2 years of community college and then transfer. But still, protect your loved ones from this idiotic choice you can do

I don't want to insult gifted kid program but every inventor was considered slow or dumb in his time period, drop outs, etc. Plus what really seals it is, the menses society of high iq people, what have they ever invented

Their smart in terms of speed of learning but they sure as hell don't contribute, advance, or invent. Just like the Chinese and Japanese are nerds but not inventors and will always steal intellectual rights.
