Basically comes down to this,
They might recognize sland because it might counter chinese influence in djibouti (Dosent make any sense when they can go through somalia)
Also credit sland for creating closer ties with Taiwan

have been highly critical of the government of Somalia, based in Mogadishu, which has refused to make any concessions to Somaliland in its statehood bid.
Mr pham in particular thinks america should stop the status quo of faith based support for muqdisho.
Are they even speaking with the right people, this guys twitter page reads like a propaganda outlet for sland. Guy needs to be investigated before hes appointed to any position guys a top shill

Taiwan at this point is a chinese state, all the higher ups at Washington know this. Why would they even recognize Taiwan, They dont even need to counter china in that politcal sense. Only in trade and maybe influence. They can create tariffs. The relations between China and America are not as harsh as people make it too be, their just playing their cards right

Somaliland can continue running around globally for recognition, it's only idiots who respond to them and fuel it as some legitimate tool. I want them to run around seeking recognition, cause I know all states are decided internally not outside your borders due to UN rules of all nations and I highly doubt their gonna make SL an exception to the rule due to some minor geopolitical region like the horn or the red sea interest vs changing the global rules protecting all member states, not a good trade off I say.

if a Taiwanese wanted Taiwan to be recognised and had the power to it wouldn’t happened already, regardless of somaliland which is irrelevant and inconsequential on the global stage. There are and have been much more powerful and influential Taiwanese-Americans in high society and their diplomatic status is still in limbo
