After UAE left, Qatar+Turkey training Somali soldiers, who are from Farmaajo's clan

Turkey offered additional military training to help compensate for the departure of the UAE trainers. Qatar also arranged for 120 military officers, and a further 120 intelligence officers, to be trained in Doha, according to a source in the African Union Mission to Somalia. The trainees were mostly Farmajo loyalists, we hear, and include few Hawiye, the clan most supportive of Jawari.
