Your chart seems fake and it also has an error. Xarardheere went from 65,561 in 2005 to 51,964 in 2014 but it says that its relative growth was over 126.00%.

Also Xarardheere, Ceel Dheer and Ceel Buur are allied with Al shabaab its impossible to get such accurate demographic figures from the said time period. One could even say that the chart was purposely doctored to push a certain agenda.

It is coming from Galmudug, and to some extent, Middle Shabelle.

Most of the people from GM and MS that move to Xamar do not go to idp camps they all have relatives who employ them or provide shelter and opportunities for them in the city. Most of IDPs are from SWS or minority clans.

I visited Ceel Dheer in 2019(went to see my abkow that got ill from old age AUN) the town and its baadiyo have better living conditions than any IDP camp in Xamar only a crazy person would go from even a pure Geel raac(the most necessitous group) in Ceel Dheer to living like a cattle in a camp.

But I whole heartly agree on the fact that Muqdisho is a huge population drainage to Ceel Dheer. Id say atleast half of the districts growth heads toward Xamar. My sub sub clan has recently found Jazeera district of Xamar and Garasbaaley as an evermore appealing destination.
