Xalane is a degenerate place but these guys are adding cusbo.

Firstly, that’s not a nightclub, it’s a hotel built by one of the American realtors in Xalane. It has a bar that serves alcohol and a swimming pool. It holds events that are illegal in the rest of Somalia but it’s not some Ibiza nightclub of degeneracy.

Secondly, there is literally no context to that first video. It’s a guy fishing in his shorts with a Somali woman filming him. Yet we’re supposed to believe that these women gleefully filming themselves are trafficked women to be used and abused because of a Twitter caption.

Finally, the woman doing niiko is tasteless. However, the South does niiko as a traditional dance and it is a cultural night. Two plus two equals four, they probably thought that they’re honouring the culture. But the Somalis there should’ve had self-awareness.

Don’t get me wrong, there is rampant abuse by NGOs in foreign countries and they take insane liberties. There needs to be an overhaul of the NGO presence in Somalia.

However, this is just exaggerated videos with the intent of just doing FKD but the Twitter user is too stupid and decided to write this in English to humiliate us.
