And who will visit the country. I plan on going there inshallah. Some Congolese friends are willing to make the trip with me. But then Corona happened. So after it's done in sha Allah.

2 countries I respect very much in Africa, Rwanda and Ghana.

Wow, I knew they were devoloping fast, but never knew it looked that nice Mashallah. Love seeing other african countries succeeding.

We had that didn't we? Half the somali people live outside somalia
Except his iron fist dictatorship and brutal executions are still going on, Kagame leads a country that’s just his own playground a playground that relies on western funding and support to operate. The man is just like every other authoritarian African leader, except this time he understands public sentiment and is far more intelligent than his predecessors.

I wouldn’t know as I don’t live there, but there has been recent reports on unemployment and restrictions on certain rights such as the freedom to vote. I personally prefer dictatorships as for some reason democracy never works in Africa. Let me throw a question back, how was the average life for a German in Nazi Germany prior to the war but Hitlers emergence of Chancellor?

The average Germans life improved. But theres 2 kinds of dictatorships, theres singapore/china and the typical african/arab despot.

He's the West poster boy for pseudo development in Africa... i.e. follow IMF instructions and put up some nice buildings but leave the rest of your country as a dump.

Not really shitting on my fellow Africans here since it isn't their fault. This is what'll happen to us if we let foreign powers pick our leaders.

They barely have a gdp per capita higher than ours whilst having a similar sized population but access to 10x more resources.

If we lived next door to the Kivu mines our capital would look like Tokyo by now.

The only reason the West picked him is because he's their gateway to the loot across the border in the DRC and he probably manages a bunch of mines there for them through Rwandan sponsored militias.
