No it was AAW who did that. He is a loser and Shariif is really losing aura points hanging around him recently. Mahad Salaad is one of my favourite Somali politicans right now though and should be the next Galmudug president.

Shariif should stop being mucaarad to HSM, polish his PR and then he actually has good chance of coming back. He was probably the most impactful individual of post 1991 Somalia. If we list his achievements,

- He popped out of nowhere as head of ICU and brought 6 months of peace in 2006 where a single homicide did not occur in Mogadishu until AY brought Ethopia to Somalia, a treasonous act he did before in the 80s where he brought them to your town of Galdagob.

- he opened the port and airport of Xamar (did it again in 2011 after the defeat of Al Shabaab in Xamar),

- As President of TFG, he cleared Al Shabaab from Mogadishu, Baydhabo and Kismaayo which are the three largest cities in the south finally allowing the capital to feel the sense of government rule for the first time since 1991 and go through the construction boom we seen past 13 years.
