A few of my male relatives are quite self-hating I feel like they are brainwashed by the media, they are into ajanabi woman and don't care about preserving their Somali blood. What has caused this phenomenon among young men to be self-hating. We have created a problem for society we had the Abdi-Exiters in 2018 and the Ana-Arab Faction in 2019 that was expired thankfully.
Have any of you guy encountered self-hating Somalis?

First of all let’s be honest there’s some of us Somali women that are into West African men. So to be fair It goes both ways. Besides in both cases it’s a minority of us who date/marry out so I don’t really see it as a problem. We as Somalis have many issues but this is ain’t one of them.
Second of all “Somali blood” is paternally
so if a Faarax married an Outsider his kids would still be Somali. This lineage system is in other ethnic groups like the Jewish one for example in the Jewish traditions “Jewish blood/lineage” it’s Maternally.

Once met a Somali who was frusrated because Some who kids who where drivning a car like vehicle, åt the time He belived they were adults. But what happed was they were shouted infront of his daughter 9. The dude was so angry He told he wished He was white, and started ti talk shit about Somalis and their big hijab. Eerm have you seen the world there are dozens of countries like somalia if not worse. First of all of africa is a shithole apart from a few. What I don't get is why we always look at ourselves and have a negative attitude... We care too much what others think.
Let them be, whenever I see people like that, i thank allah their weak self is out of our race.
Although I find thinking like that is usually a phase, those guys might be young they'll think different later. Identity is a big part of who you are and hating your ethnicity means hating yourself in the end.
I usually find those people to be ill informed or ignorant about their culture, they don't know our history and all the great things to be proud of, they just see the negative and have a bleak view of somalinimo.
