Have y’all noticed the recent trend to hate on “motherhood”?

When a woman or girl mentions she wants to get married or have kids, there’s alot of people, especially women, who put them down. These women are “pick mes” and think they’re better than women who get married and have kids. These days when I see a post about a mom and her kid, there’s spiteful people saying “who wants that life” “kids kill you (not literally)” “your life is over” “she’s probably depressed” etc, y’all get what I mean. They make everything negative. It’s giving “I’m not like the other girls”. There’s a lot of internalized misogyny going on with these women. They want to “fight the patriarcy” and have their own choices but hate on the women who go down the traditional route.

I’ve noticed there’s a lot of gen-z and younger millennials who are like this.
There’s also another subsection that absolutely hate children and don’t want to see them anywhere. Like I get having a child-free wedding but wanting restaurants, grocery stores, metros etc to be “child-free” is weird ass behavior. It’s like they believe, once you have a child, you and that child should never be seen in the public and should be locked indoors. These types are both western men and women, somalis not included it’s ajnabis, usually cadaan.

Have y’all noticed it too? I’ve seen posts about this on reddit and tiktok so I’m not the only one seeing this for what it is.

Do they really think they spawned onto earth being an adult? They were once children, probably menacing ones considering their current behaviour. I've never seen such lack of self-awareness. Yaab

Most people who talk like that actual do want kids but the lives that they are currently living is not conducive to raising a child. So instead of doing the obvious thing and change their life up and become responsible they will instead go out their way to make kids seem like the worst thing ever. “Why would I spend money on baby that cries 24/7 when I can go on trips to Thailand and ride an elephant instead “ dumb arguments like that is what they usually say.

Women will never accept rejection. They would rather say they don’t want something instead of say they do want that something but run the risk of getting rejected in the process.

Lol women who don’t want kids usually don’t even have a man . And if they do have a man and they are still saying that they don’t want kids then you can almost certainly be sure he is the one who don’t want kids and that she just conformed to his ideas.

An aberrant hatred for children or women that choose them is not the norm. I do not mind anyone who chooses to remain child free but anyone holding a militant stance on the matter has some self-examination to do.​
