Our death toll is in the 20s starting from the first battles back in 2016. Funny thing is it is the SY that killed 36 of them. After getting karbashed the Porcus tried to pick up fights with Maxamud Xamuud (a different sub clan that lives with us in some areas) and got massacred today.

The usual conflict about water and land has been politicised Wadani politicians think they can gain political capital out of this conflicts. The government has spent enough resources to stop the conflict in celafweny now the conflict has moved to another area. Wadani has already hold a press conference accusing the government for failing to maintain the peace. While talking about the people who died in the conflict I could see from his face the pleasure he was getting from it , as long as wadani thinks it can gain political capital you will here about this skirmishes. Personally I think the government should come out openly and accuse wadani of being behind this clan conflict in Sanaag.

Another option for the government is to play clan politics to counter wadani first replace current interior minister with someone from sanaag also the president gives the leadership of kulmiye to a politician from wadani base this will take away wadani's ammunition for fueling the clan conflict. The situation will revert to the original issue of land and water which solution can be found.

Asked yourself why it never happened during the UDUB regime because most of current wadani politicians and supporters used to be in UDUB so when they lost power they begun fueling clan conflict in Sanaag it is the same politician who are doing this. The aim is to distabalise somaliland and blame it on the government watch the press conference by wadani spokesman he is enjoying the deaths of innocent nomads from both sides just like you at least his is a politician who thinks he is going to be benefit from it. What I don't understand is what do you gain from this killing of innocent people.

Maxamud Xamud is not SY but a different sub clan (Muuse Ismaaciil). When the Porcupines got defeated by SY (36 dead) they tried to start nonsense with other eastern HY sub clans who now also karbashed them.
