If everyone smuggler who's caught in Somalia is shot without question and trials this won't happen.. Also the tahriibis should be sent to torture camps for a couple of days, so they can experience what awaits them if they take the journey.

No you don't pay any smugglers in Somalia. I know a couple guys who did the journey, it's free to tahrib until you reach Libya which is where you will be held captive until your relatives pay the smuggling fees. The driver who drove you from Somalia directly works with them and they also have Somali translators.

But OP is right, Libya is an unstable shithole country and people get kidnapped right after their relatives sent the smuggling fees and will be held captive again.

We have everything in Somalia, beautiful land, ocean and beaches, land to grow healthy fruits, one religion and one language, seafood, camels and other types of cattle possibly gas and oil, but we lack the intelligence to utilize what allah gave us instead we rather chose to destroy our country and be refugees on all four corners of the world and the ones back home are waiting for UN and diaspora relative remittance handouts..
