Help needed with learning Somali history

I posted another thread in the General section asking this question but people wanted to crack jokes instead of being f*cking helpful!

I'm interested in learning our people's history more deeply and I literally made an account on here so I could engage with the "Culture & History" more and ask questions over the summer.
But the problem is idk where to start. Are there any beginner resources I could use? I've gone through the sticky threads already.

Start by learning about your qabiil lineage and history, then history of the region you're from and work your way around that, ask elders or any of your relatives that are somewhat knowledgeable on family history maybe grandparents or grandparents cousins etc
