The drought is extreme in Somalia. So dont be greedy and help them even if that means by donating 1 dollar. Is that not possible, then atleast dua.

we as people are the least greedy, we send home billions annually. i dont know of a somali that doesnt send any money back. with the exception of maybe sujus

But almost all of them will not send a donation to a charity.

This is why no Somali charities exist, which is a good thing because Somali charities are businesses.

as opposed to cadaan charities which are not businesses?
atleast money sent back or collected as sadaqa will reach its destination in its entirety.

I gave money to my mom who donated money to my family back home and we also donated to a general fund that was getting collected in MN that's handling the situation. I hope the best for the people back home.
