This is bizzare thinking. The people in question arent even muslim majority why would anyone relate and identify more with them then their own brethren.I heard they are mostly habar awal. But, they were given that land during the coloniel era. When it comes to citizenship in regards to the inhabititants of that settlement in question. As a citizen of the nation whom most were born within kenyan soil. No doubt. The identity in regards to country should be chosen first which shows a primary indicator of incussion and commonality amoug different communities nationwide. Therefore, they should claim kenyan nationality because they were born in kenya which makes them a citizen of the country. Somaliland is just their ancestorial country. Therefore, it should be seen as a secondary factor after nationality because it is not a shared identity .But, a unique one amoug the masses from which the people originate from.
