Why do little girls in Somalia wear big jilbabs? I’m not even kidding when I say I saw five year olds with bigger hijabs than me. Since when did this become normal?

Same repeated topic over and over again. Little girls wear Jilbabs in Somalia now because it's the cultural norm now. Parents want to prepare their girls before puberty so they can be comfortable with the clothing once they reach the it.

Yeah marry them off early is key, I rather have a respectable daughter than a PhD holding .
