Hopefully nothing substantial comes from these talks. A fragmented relationship between the two is in everyone's interest.

Abiy doesn't seem fazed after the attack. I would've thought his heart might be skipping a few beats after his near death encounter. The man is on a mission to bring about peace in his country, kudos to him.

Although Al Shabaab needs to be a bit more professional if given another chance. Maybe take up @DR OSMAN advice and shower the target in grenades thrown from helicopters, I suppose that's out of the question, maybe drop them from rooftops. All in all, their performance was subpar.

Use highly destructive bombs to annihilate hundreds of your ppl, but roll grenades onto the target as if they were bowling on a Saturday night, shit doesn't make sense.

I would become a fan of Abiy if he handed over Gabre to the folks in Mogadishu, who brought much despair and death to during the 2006 invasion. He needs a lesson in humility. Guul to Abiy, a man of peace and progression.

AUN to the victims.

Kemal Gelchu, the leader of the Eritrean guerrilla militia is expected to be among the delegates.
