How am I to respond when men buy me things unprovoked but I’m not interested in them?

I have an aversion to men because of my upbringing. I am afraid of men negatively reacting to my rejection when they buy me things. It happens on occasion and they can react so differently. Sometimes they are humble but on bizarre occasions they can snap as if I troubled and inconvenienced them. It happened tonight and I didn’t know how to react so I made up the boyfriend excuse.
I’m afraid because I am naive when it comes to men. I have some experience dealing with them but ultimately I am still naive because I am too guarded.

Even this could be dangerous sis. Men are more desperate than ever they could potentially drug you. I would advise not to accept anything
You should friendzone the ones you aren't interested off rip and not give them the idea that you are interested in them on a relationship type of way. Don't be rude but try to give them the impression you see them as a bro and not a future bf
