I mean like somali parents for example. they just come up with insults without even thinking about it. its almost as if it just rolls of their tongues.

it's more natural in somali though. it just flows together, and just about most proficient somali speakers can do so.

My sister is so goood with comebacks, but in english. I'm the type to come up with fatalities after the fact which is lame af.

point being it's a rare talent in english, and natural in somali. (although I'm not gonna lie black people are pretty quick as well) by the way I'm not talking about comebacks to insults alone, I'm speaking about the general ability to have something to say right off the bat, positive or negative

Native speakers of any language are generally very witty in their own language. You are only impressed with the Somali natives because your Somali level is a bit lower.
