SOOOO wrong. 55K?!?!? :wtf:

Laascaanood is 200K+. It's not a moderately sized town, it's a small-medium sized city.

100k max. People who rep a city tend to over-exaggerate the population and greatness of their city. When's the last time you've been there?

LaasCaanood seems like it would have nice weather.

Last time I've personally been there was 2014, and it was definitely larger than 100K at that time. My brothers and sisters were just there 2019. I'm planning on going back as soon as this covid-19 thing lifts off.

I am not over-exaggerating, more like you are with how small it is. Even non-L.A'ers will tell you it's definitely more than 100K.

That's definitely a fact, ask anyone. Saying LA is 55K-85K is an insult. I don't think even @AarHawd_7 would be that shameless.

What's your qabil?

It does, especially when it rains it looks so beautiful. Laascanood is covered by mountains and hills all around and is located in a basin. So when it rains all the water flows down to the city and down into wells.

It gets hot at times but during the winter seasons it's 24/7 perfect weather. Especially during nights there's nice cool winds. The geography of Laascanood is probably one of the best for cities in somalia

Laascanood is also a relatively green city, with many shrubs and trees.

Exactly bro, Laascaanood is very large, about the size of scarborough. Scarborough has a 600K population, but that's because it has apartments and buildings so there's a higher pop. density. Probably about double of L A, most likely LA is half the population of scarborough.

LasCanood is city expanding quickly.

The people who live there stopped fighting SL as they found out that their city is developing is better than guns.

LasCanood is a beautiful city and a pearl in Sool.

To all those people from Somalia(Southern) claiming it. Did you put your money into it. The diaspora and SL government has.

Bro don't make this about politics, I don't want an argument to begin overhere and it being moved to political section or something.

Borama has mountains surrounding it too? I remember when my mom and sisters came back from somalia just last year, they talked a lot about borama and how green it was. I never visited borama but after they praised it so much I was planning on visiting this year, but covid-19 ruined my plans. So I'll try and go there 2021

I just searched it up and apparently there's a huge mountain plain in all of northern Somalia. It splits in the middle at toghdheer, most of it going to sanaag and a small strip of mountains going to sool. In between those two forks of mountains is the nugaal valley.

There are almost no mountains in southern somalia.

What's your qabil?

Why are people on Sspot so fond of exaggerating the population of tuulos that can be crossed from west to east in 5-25 minutes and all the buildings can be counted with your fingers? God knows if Laascaanod is at 200k like you claim, because I've only driven through it, but I'll take your word, only because I haven't seen the town properly. I swear the town didn't seem that big and we crossed it in 20mins.

Tuulo ah afar guuri iyo masjid is called a big town with 10k to 20k people! Some idiot on another thread was talking about Aw-Barkhadle being inhabited by 15k people! :russ:

Did you go to school in Hargeisa?
